ELIGIBILITY
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or an Education-related field
- At least 6 months to 1 year of ESL teaching experience
- Advanced English proficiency — CEFR C1 or C2 required
- Excellent grammar, pronunciation, and communication skills
- Clear and internationally understandable English accent
- Comfortable conducting online lessons and using workplace technology
- Professional, reliable, receptive to training, and able to work independently
- Available to start immediately

THE ROLE
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality online English lessons to Japanese students ages 6–17
- Follow company teaching standards, policies, and procedures
- Complete assigned teaching, administrative, and training requirements
- Maintain consistent lesson quality, attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct
- Participate in meetings, training, coaching, and quality-assurance activities
- Support AICA's operational and educational objectives

Technical Requirements
Stable connection
Minimum 30 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload. Wired LAN is preferred; CAT6 Ethernet or higher is recommended.
Professional setup
Professional headset with microphone and clear voice transmission. Noise cancellation preferred. Minimum 720p webcam; 1080p preferred.
Ready for interruptions
A functional secondary laptop or desktop and a secondary internet connection are required. Phones and tablets are not acceptable backup teaching devices. Emergency power is strongly recommended.

TEACHING SPACE
Professional Environment
Your teaching area must be quiet, private, clean, uncluttered, and well-lit. Use a plain white, beige, or light-gray background. You must remain clearly visible and audible throughout every lesson.
